About Us

   We are Bruce and JoAnne and have been married 36 years. For the first 20 years of our marriage, we were full time parents,  worked in newspapers and print shops, built houses, taught pre-k and devoted our time and energy to raising 3 wonderful children.
    16 years ago our children grew up and left home and we decided to put our energies into creating art that we had never had the time or resources to do while raising children.
   For many years, we have torn down houses to build houses, used old barn wood to build cabinets and furniture and scrap metal to make sculptures. So, when it came time to start our "empty-nest" life, we decided to use our God given talents to make art out of recycled items.

       Bruce has decided to start using his artistic talent to create yard art out of recycled tires, metal and wood.
His latest creation is flower pots made out of used tires. He cuts, turns, washes, and with JoAnne's help, paints them to look like flowers.

     He also is making flowers, birdhouses and feeders from used wood and roofing tin. All of Bruce & JoAnne's creations are made for inside or outside use.

   We sell mainly at outdoor art shows in the spring and fall. We sell from our home and usually have our pots and other yard art available for sale and can take orders. We also sell from the web, so feel free to call us to make an order.
